The College of Business and Management at Boca Raton-based Lynn University is adapting its curriculum to prepare students for the business world of today. This year, the college added several new areas of study and formed academic collaborations with career-ready programs, like coding boot camps, so students can the gain skills high-growth industries expect and demand.
“Our experienced professors are committed to providing practical skills that help prepare our graduates for the future,” said RT Good, dean of the College of Business and Management. “The South Florida Business Journal named Lynn among the region’s top MBA programs thanks to its adaptable programs that resonate in today’s ever-changing workforce,” he said.
As desired skills expand, so has Good’s faculty. This fall, the college welcomed seven new professors.

Cybersecurity, data analytics, healthcare management and social entrepreneurship comprise the College of Business and Management’s new undergraduate specializations. An MBA in healthcare management is also new. For professionals seeking continuous education credits or professional development opportunities, the college also added eight graduate certifications: entrepreneurship, healthcare, hospitality, financial evaluation and investment, human resource, international business, marketing and sports management.
Expand your skills at Lynn’s Business Symposium
Up-skilling is one part of meeting industry demands. This fall, Lynn will hold the College of Business and Management’s second annual Business Symposium, a one-day forum featuring nationally-recognized speakers, panelists and innovators. The symposium helps professionals stay atop of business trends.
On Wednesday, Nov. 14, business leaders, chief executives, recruiters and students will hear about hot topics such as: business advancement; developing passion, purpose and professionalism; long-term business management strategies; executive transitions and legacy planning; plus the latest in sustainability, current events and the practices empowering today’s workforce. Registration is $45.
Attend a university open house
Lynn’s graduate and online programs are designed for busy adults, don’t require test scores for admission and offer a private education at a state university price. Most of the university’s graduate programs can also be completed in as little as one year.
